Materials Used In Our CNC Machining & Milling Process
How Does CNC Milling Work?

CNC Machining is the process by which material is removed from a work piece with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment that cuts away-unwanted material.  Machining is possible on virtually any material. Parts are machined directly from your 3D CAD models. Why select the CNC Machining process? When you need to hold tight tolerance (+/- 0.005"), and when you MUST have your parts in a specific material, such as the production plastic or metal.

CNC Benefits
  • Machine any material that is commercially available in stock sizes. Any plastic, any metal.
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances; typical accuracy.
  • The cost can be cheaper than even rapid prototypes, depending on the geometry and volume.
Equipment
  • 20 automatic CNC and 8 manual milling systems including Millitronix & Acu-Rite
Specifications
  • Work Envelope Size - Our commitment to ultra precision work limits the size of our work envelope to a maximum of: X=40" Y=20" Z=22"
Tolerances
  • 0.0002" to 0.005"
